About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of SKYTRAIL (the "Game"), a live event operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS / COMPANY NUMBER] (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By connecting a wallet or paying an entry, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't play. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].

Eligibility & restricted places

  • You must be legally allowed to play real-money skill games and to hold and send crypto-assets where you are. Knowing your local law is your responsibility, not ours.
  • You must not be on, or acting for anyone on, a sanctions list.
  • Restricted jurisdictions — placeholder list, to be confirmed and completed by counsel: [United States and its territories; United Kingdom; France; Netherlands; Singapore; Australia; any place where real-money games or crypto-asset gaming are banned or need a licence we do not hold; any country or region under comprehensive sanctions].
  • We may block access by IP address or other signals. Using a VPN or other means to get around a block is prohibited. We may refuse or void entries made from a restricted place [counsel to confirm the remedy, e.g. return of the entry value].

What SKYTRAIL is

SKYTRAIL is an online multiplayer game in which you fly a car above a neon city and try to survive. It is a real-money skill game: what you do with the controls drives the result, but luck (spawn positions, other players' choices, network conditions) also plays a part. We call it a game of skill; some places may treat it differently. It is entertainment, not an investment, a financial product or a security, and nothing about it promises a return.

Entry & payment

  • An entry costs $1 in SOL of starting value, with no fee on top, paid in SOL from a wallet you control to the house wallet published on the Payouts page.
  • The whole entry becomes your starting value in the arena.
  • Dollar amounts are for display only, converted at an indicative SOL/USD rate that may be out of date. Your value is tracked in SOL, so its dollar worth moves with the market.
  • Blockchain transactions are final. Send only from a wallet you control, on the network shown above, and double-check the amount. We cannot reverse a transaction or recover money sent to the wrong place [operator: refund policy for entries that fail verification].
  • We may close or pause entries at any time, for example when the arena is full, at the event end, or for technical or legal reasons.

How value moves

  • You enter carrying your starting value. Inside the arena value only moves between players and orbs; no money is added.
  • Kill: when your bullets destroy another player, 70% of their value goes straight to you.
  • The other 30% drops as gold orbs around the spot. Any player can collect them.
  • Deaths with no killer (two cars colliding) drop 100% of the victim's value as gold orbs.
  • Gold orbs do not expire during the event.
  • Gold orbs nobody collects by the end of the event go to the house.
  • We may tune game settings during the event for fairness or stability [operator: policy on mid-event changes].

Cashing out

  • To cash out, hold the cash out key (F) and survive 10 seconds. You are not protected while you do: you can still be shot or rammed, and you are marked on every player's map, with your value.
  • Your entry pays for your car and cannot be cashed out on its own: cash out unlocks once you carry at least 1% more than the entry value ($1.01 on a $1 entry).
  • If you let go early, nothing is paid and you fly on. If you are destroyed first, the cash out fails and you lose what you carried.
  • A successful cash out is paid in SOL to the wallet you entered with. Network fees for the payout: [operator: who pays].
  • Payouts normally go out within minutes, but they can be delayed by network congestion, outages or checks. Payouts above a size we set may be held for manual review before they are sent.

Death

If your car is destroyed — shot down by another player or in a collision with another car — you lose everything you were carrying. There are no refunds, rematches or second chances, including for deaths caused by lag, a dropped connection or a misjudged turn.

Disconnects

If you disconnect, your car keeps flying straight for about 10 seconds and stays fully vulnerable. If it survives that time it is cashed out automatically, provided cash out was unlocked; if you had not yet earned past your entry, the car and its value go to the house. If it is destroyed first, it is lost like any other death. Your device, browser and connection are your responsibility, and we owe no compensation for latency, packet loss, crashes or timeouts.

Event end & automatic cash out

  • When the event ends, entries close and every player still alive is cashed out automatically at their current value, paid to the wallet they entered with.
  • We may end the event early, or extend it, for technical or legal reasons [operator: policy]. If we end it early we will cash out every living player first.
  • When the event is over nothing carries forward. Uncollected orbs and what is left of the bonus pool go to the house (see How value moves).

Payout transparency

Payouts are listed live on the Payouts page, each with a link to the transaction on a public block explorer. That page is a convenience; the blockchain is the source of truth. If a payout shows "Failed" or "In review", we will retry or resolve it — contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if it is stuck.

Risk disclosure

You can lose your entire entry — and the more you carry, the more there is to lose. Play only with money you can afford to lose.

  • This is not a way to make money. Because uncollected gold orbs go to the house, players on average get back less than they paid in.
  • Other players. Opponents may be more experienced, have faster connections or computers, or cheat. We try to prevent cheating but cannot guarantee it. [Operator: disclose whether any house-controlled bots or accounts play in live rooms.]
  • Technology. Servers, networks and software fail. Lag, outages, bugs, exploits or attacks can affect the game, and we may pause the game, a room or payouts (for example if an accounting check fails) to protect everyone's funds.
  • Crypto. SOL's price can swing sharply, transactions are irreversible, wallets can be lost or stolen, and networks can be congested or down.
  • No protection. Money carried in the arena is held in the house wallet. It is not a bank deposit and is not insured or covered by any compensation scheme.
  • Law. Rules about games and crypto change. We may have to restrict or stop the Game in some places at short notice.

Play responsibly. Set a limit before you start, never chase losses, and stop if it stops being fun. If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know, get help: [local problem-gambling support resources].

Fair play

No bots, scripts or automation; no exploiting bugs; no multiple accounts; no collusion (including feeding value to a partner). We may void entries, ban wallets and withhold payouts tied to cheating [counsel to confirm]. Found a bug? Tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL] instead of using it.

No guarantees & liability

The Game is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted play, any particular result or any profit. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from gameplay, technical failures, network or wallet problems, or third-party services, and our total liability to you is limited to [amount, e.g. the entry value you paid for the affected run]. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Privacy

We process your wallet address, your IP address (for access control and abuse prevention), your player name and gameplay events. Wallet transactions are public on the blockchain by nature. [Operator/counsel: full privacy notice — controller, legal basis, retention, rights, processors.]

No affiliation

SKYTRAIL is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any car maker or vehicle manufacturer, Tesla, Inc., SpaceX, or Elon Musk, or to any of their products, vehicles, services, brands or trademarks.
